Angelo credits most of his musical attributes to his Filipino heritage, with The Short Fall’s new single Looking over my shoulder focusing on the concept of never truly being able to escape your past, whether good or bad; a theme many migrant families can relate to. The song also questions what personal experiences from our past we try to leave behind but always keep a check on; be it depression, anxiety, relationships or memories.
