Wait for Me
The Short Fall are set to release their new single in the best possible way by supporting Aussie music legend Daryl Braithwaite on Great Keppel Island on March 14.
Their single, titled Wait for me, will be released on Friday March 6 on all digital platforms. With harmonies reminiscent of Crowded House, Wait for me is the perfect track for lovers of catchy guitar-driven pop rock. A song about finding hope through dark times; The Short Fall craft a story that is part social commentary & part personal reflection with enough space for the listener to impart their own meaning.
The timing could not have been better scripted for The Short Fall’s single release; the opportunity to support Braithwaite on the island where his iconic ‘The Horses’ music video was filmed, to what will effectively be their home crowd. The sibling duo originally hail from Rockhampton in Central Queensland and will relish performing to friends and family on their old stomping ground.
“Anytime you get to play on Great Keppel Island is special – it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world. We’re so lucky this event has coincided with the launch of our new single as well – ‘The Horses‘ is basically the unofficial anthem in regional Queensland pubs so it’s safe to say it’s going to be absolutely packed” says older sibling Angelo.
The Conway brothers will follow up their Keppel Island performance with Brisbane shows in April & May.
